3.0 out of 5 stars Fair, January 9, 2012
This review is from: Art of Rock and Roll, The (3rd Edition) (Paperback)
This book was written as a textbook for a 2 credit hour class at Saginaw Valley State, back about 1982. It was OK when it was first written because there was not much like it then, now everything that's here, and a lot more, is on Wikipedia. It's another WAAAY overpriced textbook.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor Production, December 22, 2010
By
This review is from: Art of Rock and Roll, The (3rd Edition) (Paperback)
This book is very poorly made. All of the photos look like they were copied on an old, cheap photo copier. There is no way this book is worth almost $50! The photo of the book with the blue cover is also misleading - the second photo is more accurate.

Overall, I was highly disappointed. I thought I was buying a coffee table quality book about the "art of rock and roll" and instead I got a very cheaply made and poorly produced child's school book about the history of rock.
