I have read quite a few investing books and have been an Investment Advisor for a few years and this is absolutely the most useful book I own. I use it daily in my business to help advise clients, research investments and just get a better understanding of the financial markets and their innerworkings. This book is well written, comprehensive, and offers the insight that only someone who has been there can give.I highly recommend this book to any one who is interested in making money, in any type of investing.

A great book for beginning investors, especially those who just know how the market works and not much else. You won't find any get rich quick schemes or hot stock picks. Mayo clearly values thorough research before buying any companies. This books also is very easy to read, and while some parts can get a little technical, it's nothing you can't figure out upon a few rereads. A great book for anyone looking into beginning Company valuation for sure! I can't recommend this enough, it covers the whole gamut and is great not just for stocks, but real estate too! Note however, that this book isn't a graduate level textbook on investing, it's just a nice very broad primer on the basics, even a seasoned pro could use it for a reference (it has a nice glossary). I can only say it as simply as this: Can't recommend this book enough.
