I was really impressed with this book. It is clearly written and provides detailed guidance on how to promote your business. This book demonstrates that self promotion takes some effort but is actually pretty simple if you are doing the right things! I felt empowered after reading this book. I realized that I CAN promote my business and gain new clients and become more successful. I would definitely recommend The Art of Self Promotion to anyone who has, or wants to have, their own business... any independent business people, freelancers etc. I highlighted a lot of points and have begun to implement them in my business- it's definitely making a difference. I think this book covers just about everything. The book isn't overwhelming and doesn't suggest CRAZY things, just things that make sense and will genuinely get you and your business more visibility. I've read a few other books on this topic, but none were as clear or concise. The Art of Self Promotion covered everything, and I like the way it's written. However, as clear and simple as the book makes self promotion, I would have NEVER realized most of these things before. The Art of Self Promotion is an easy to read, extremely useful book. Two thumbs up!

Great book and easy to read. I'm going to have to read it a second time to start implementing the ideas in it! Highly recommended for designers or service professionals looking to promote their business. It puts just about everything you need in an easy-to-understand format that you can put to use right away.

I highly recommend this book. It's an easy & quick read that will give you many ideas to promote your business. You won't regret buying it.

The only thing that I found wrong was that there were a lot of typos that spellchecker couldn't catch.

If you overlook those flaws, this book has just the tips and advice,you'll need and use.
