The Art of Shaving Brush Stand, Black 1 ea

This product does what is suppose to and is a very affordable alternative to the more expensive and elaborate options out there. I use this with the standard Art of Shaving badger brush. Just a few things to keep in mind:

1 - This product is plastic.
2 - This brush stand is meant to hold your brush upside down where the bristles enter the handle NOT at the handle bevel! I.E. the entire handle goes above the U shaped cut out while the bristles hand below. I thought I got the wrong size at first since I was trying to figure out how in the world the brush would fit when the cut out was to skinny and there was not enough vertical space for the brush itself. Finally my wife showed me that I was simply inserting the brush at the wrong location.

This holder works well. The grooved "rack" that holds the brush in place will fit most sizes of shaving brush. It is made of a hard plastic, and does not look like it will be easy to break. There is also an adhesive sticker that allows you to easily mount it on the wall.

The stand is important because it allows the brush to dry in the best position, with the bristles pointing down.

Purchased this stand for the brush that came with my Van Der Hagen premium shave set. The stand will not grip the brush by the handle, opening is too small. It will however go around the bristles with the handle on top. Just rotate your brush as you put it in and it fits nicely. This will help keep my brush dry especially as summer arrives with the excessive humidity here in the south. And at $6 with free shipping how can you go wrong. The stand was well packed and arrived quickly.

I have had this stand for over 2 years now. It works perfect and has survived in my travel bag for a few big trips. If I were to lose it or have it break, I would not hesitate to buy this one again.

Got an Art of Shaving shaving kit including a shaving brush for Christmas, and wanted an inexpensive brush stand so that the brush could dry properly between uses. Metal stands were much more expensive than I was willing to pay, as I was not even sure I would like the shaving kit.

This brush stand fits the Art of Shaving brush perfectly, the plastic stand will never rust, and I am thrilled with the purchase.

This brush stand does exactly what it's supposed to do: hold my shaving brush inverted to dry. There's nothing fancy about this stand, it's black and plastic, but there is no reason for me to give it less than 5 stars since it does everything it should. I can even mount it to the all or something, but I opted not to - I just set it on my counter next to my razor and other shaving stuff. For $6.00 (free shipping), I'm not sure I could ask for more. The seller (Beauty.com) sent it quickly and packaged it very well. I ordered on Nov 8 and it shipped on the 10th and delivered on the 12th. Not bad for "free shipping."

Just recieved this item today and the first thing I thought was "really" what was I thinking? 8.50 plus shipping and handling for this dinky piece of plastic. Save your money and find something similiar local. Then you wont kick yourself for way over paying for something you can find in the dollar store............

I thought about getting one of those real nice expensive holders since I paid so much for the product for my husband, but I thought since he puts his shaving stuff in a cabinet where no one will ever see it anyway, I got this cheaper one and I don't know how it compares to the nice/expensive ones but it sure does it's purpose and we're happy with it!

Many of the products offered by the Art of Shaving suffer from one key flaw - the price point. With that in mind, I added this keeper to my Amazon Wish List with the hopes that someone in my family would be in the market for a quick gift fix. The stand turned out to be a great stocking stuffer, and it matches the black and silver finish of my Art of Shaving badger brush nicely.

All told, it's functional and it's accessable. A solid buy, especially for the guy who is just starting to collect shaving accoutrement.

It's a no-brainer. Got a shaving brush, then get a brush holder. Helps prolong the life of your shaving brush. It was delivered on time, a little pricey if you ask me.
