This natural, antiseptic mineral from Europe, known for its healing properties, was used by the Egyptians more than 4,000 years ago.

The Styptic Pen can also be used to prep skin for an electric razor shave, helping to create optimally smooth results.

Especially Suited For: All skin types

Essential Elements: Alum helps stop bleeding and provides protective, antiseptic properties. Size: 0.8 oz.

Free of: Synthetic fragrance

For Best Effect: To stop bleeding, moisten the Styptic Pen with cold water and rub it gently onto the abrasion or cut. For minor cuts, moisten the Styptic Pen with cold water and hold it over cut for a few seconds until bleeding stops. To prep skin for an electric razor shave, wet the Styptic Pen with warm water and glide over the face in the opposite direction of hair growth.

The Styptic Pen does not stay attached to the black case. It falls out after about a week of use. I love "The Art of Shaving" products... just not this one. Go for the simple Styptic Pen that looks like a small crayon.

Worked great for the first few uses, but then it began to crumble apart so it failed way before it was used up. For the price it shouldn't prematurely fail.
