This book goes to the heart of who we are in this complex society. Not only does it provide insights into helping others discovers how to become who they are meant to be but it also provides a deeper undertanding of the cultural baggage one carries and the challenges individuals need to be wlling to encounter in our life' journey, in our search for fulfillment and a meaningful life.

I used the "search inside" feature to learn more about what looked like a good book for use in my work in spiritual direction. However, from the table of contents, it became clear that the author is writing from a strongly Christian perspective. I am Jewish and am looking for spiritual guidance resources to use in a Jewish faith context. I just feel that potential buyers need to be aware of the perspective of the author before making a purchase, as some books of this type can be useful to people of all faiths. From the table of contents, I don't think that would be true with this book.
