These books showcase photographs of the work of contemporary professional stained-glass artists as inspiration for glass workers. There are no projects in either book. Peterson groups artists by type of work, e.g., stained, beveled, painted, or fused glass, and includes a description of each artist's work and technique. Photographs show detail or, in some cases, the entire piece in its architectural setting. Wrigley's book has detail studies arranged by subject such as people or animals. Both books are beautifully illustrated and are suitable for general arts and crafts collections.

As an artist and a pursuer in a Stained Glass career, this is the type of book I like. It shows many aspects one has to look at when buying a book, I found it very helpful in ideas and techniques..I really loved it.
