5.0 out of 5 stars A Really Nice Disc., July 7, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Art Tatum 1949 (Audio CD)
This is a really good disc. I would recommend this and all the Tatum discs on the Chronological Classics. This particular one features Tatum's wholly original work from the "great American songbook"--all piano solos. Some of the cuts were done live, but fortunately, the editors wisely cut out almost all the applause. You can't go wrong with this disc as a gift or an excellent addition to your collection.
