I bought this book a few months back. So far it's been very helpful. I'm trying to learn how to successfully read tea leaves on a regular basis. Unfortunatly, I've gotten sick within the past month and have been trying to stay away from caffeine. I have to consistently drink only water, so my learning has been cut short for a while, although I plan on continuing my study as soon as I am better. Before my sickness, I used the book religiously for roughly 2-3 weeks. During that time it gave me a good start on what I needed to know and do to prepare to understand the art of tea leaf reading. I would definatly recommend this to anyone curious.

I enjoyed this title alot and highly recommended it.It starts off with a short history of tea and tea-leaf reading, then moves on to getting the gear you'll need-like getting the right cup and teapot and choosing the right tea,and gives a list of the varieties of tea suitable for readings.Tells you how to make the perfect cup of tea for a reading. Chapter 3 tells you how to prepare for a reading, gives a centering meditation and how to perform the reading ritual. Chapter 4 tells how to read the leaves, asking the right questions, what areas of the cup mean and advice on recording your readings. Chapter 5 'Readings for every purpose' gives just that-a reading for the day ahead, how to answer a yes/no question, advice on categories of readings-love,career,money,family,health and travel and tells how to do special readings, such as one for your birthday and even readings for pets! The book is completed by the tea-leaf directory, with symbols organized into the six categories mentioned above, all of the symbols are given meaning in regard to what category they are in,some symbols appear in more than one section. I would have liked a 'General meanings' category for what symbols mean in a general fortune reading, but using your intuition can overcome this. |
