5.0 out of 5 stars One of best books for those starting to tie., May 17, 1996
By A Customer
This review is from: The Art of Tying the Dry Fly (Paperback)
Pictures are great, in color, and almost a blind man(or woman) can see them, read the instructions and understand. Instructions are fairly straight forward, and progression of flies tied or techniques is logical. Is a great instruction manual for those starting out. Companion text on tying nymphs also a worthwhile read. Other books that are very similar are the Kaufmann books

I look forward to using this book to help me learn about fly tying. I am in the process of acquiring the equipment needed to tie flies. Should be an interesting endeavor.
