"The Art of War for Spiritual Battle" by Cindy Trimm is an incredible book that takes prayer to a brand new level - COMBAT! Regardless of the season of life that you're in, this book will open your eyes to the absolute necessity for all Christians to be on their knees! Cindy Trimm draws battle concepts from Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" and reveals Biblical support of those techniques designed to turn your prayer time into victorious spiritual skirmishes.

This book is a powerful tool that leads back to scripture and inspires the reader to not only spend more time in prayer, but also to spend their prayer time more effectively. When I need God desperately, I seek Him earnestly. But when things are going well, I can forget to spend the quality time with Him that I should. If you're anything like me, and you're not in a desperate season, I urge you to read this book and put its teaching into practice. If you're like me and in a desperate season, I'm guessing you're already on your way to pick it up. Either way, you will not be disappointed. This book will help to draw you nearer to God and the act of praying His will.

This book is a blessing to all readers. If you like to eat the meat of God's word... then this book is for you! It will cause you to think on a different level as well as cause your faith to be stirred. Your prayer life will rise to levels one would only dream. I suggest that you take your time to read the book in order to digest what God will speak to you. My church is reading the book in Sunday school and it is blessing us all. I love it!

By using Sun Tzu's "Art of War", which most people are familiar with, as a template for spiritual battle against Satan's forces Dr. Trimm has brought prayer life into the forefront of the readers battle plan. She has stated that Satan doesn't mind if we are Christians as long as we don't know that persistant prayer and time spent with God are the best ways of defeating him. This book is how to use fervent prayer to enable God to bring Heaven down to earth and to spread His light throughout the nations and throughout our lives. There is something here for everyone that can enable them to apply prayer more efficiently in their life. The most important thing to realize is that it is persistant prayer that effects change. A definite read for anyone interested in becoming a prayer warrior or just interested in improving their prayer life. The book is easy to read and understand and small enough to carry with you anywhere.

Not only is this book a go-to mannual for warfare, this book is a must read for every prayer warrior and intercessor. After reading this book, my prayer life exploded. This book not only transformed my prayer life; this book thrusts me into new spiritual realms and dimensions. Your authority in prayer will intensify and your spiritual territories will be enlarged. In addition, your sensitivty to the Spirit realm will intensify. This book will ignite within you the spirit of prayer. No other book reveals the authority of the believer and the strategies needed to construct effective prayer campaigns. You will not only have a passion for prayer, but you will begin to prevail in prayer. Your prayers will begin to cause commotions in the heavenlies. Satanic opposition will begin to back up as you unleash strategies. This book is pregnant with principles that you need to progress in the Kingdom and prevail over the enemy. Expect your life to change and your life to empowered. You will never be the same!

What a Rhema word! I spent two hours in discussion with a friend about just the preface and the introduction. Anyone desiring to see the manifestation of the Kingdom of Heaven released through their prayer life should read this book.

Dr. Trimm as always, made the book come alive in the mind of this reader. Although the book was based on Sun Tzus Art of War, she allowed me to see the battle front from a spiritual perspective thatI would not have gained other wise. If nothing else we learn that prayer, prayer, and more prayer is the essential weapon that we have to combat the enemy. Prayer keeps us connected to heaven, and thats where we get our orders from, for God is our commander and chief. She reminded us that while it is important to have a prayer life just for your self, we are to have corporate prayers as well. If there was any doubt as to how to do it, She gives step by step examples on how to get started to the advanced. This book walks you through step by step, through the militay ranks. She talks about the general quite a bit and even though she says it,the light had to come on for me, why a general? After having been in the service myself, I now understand, although whom much is given much is required, I didn't go through the ranks for nothing. After haven taken orders from someone who ranks higher, we need to be in a place of training not only from our leaders but also with God that we can move up in ranks. I recommend this book to all who are spiritual and are bold soldiers.The Bible says to be strong in the lord and in the power of his might,this book gives you more arsenal and the arsenal is statagy, and thats the power of his might. David did not only dress for battle, but he also had a stratagy from God. It may have been foolish to some, but he brought the giant down. Once again Dr.Trimm is "The General" and has recieved orders from our commander and chief(God) straight from his office(the throne room), come get a copy of your orders.

I wasn't looking for a particular book when locating The Art of the Spiritual Battle. I needed something to enhance my knowledge of spiritual warfare. This book helped me to see spiritual warfare from difference perspectives. It explains the different types of spiritual warfare and how to prepare when they are coming your way. I am ever so grateful for this book. I have already recommended this book to my church members.

As always Dr. Cindy Trimm clearly conveys profound truths regarding the power of engaging in the discipline of prayer to the believer as it pertains to advancing the Kingdom of God. With honesty, practicality and wisdom she teaches us how we can in fact daily see greater progress in our prayer lives as well as breakthrough in times of intercession and petitioning of heaven.

This book allowed me the opportunity to learn from one of today's most respected voices in the ministry of prayer and intercession and be taught how I can in fact personally cultivate my OWN life of continual, persistent, transformational prayer.

If you are looking for a key to see the invovlement of heaven in your life at another level..I encourage you to read between the pages of this textbook and APPLY the principles recorded within it..you will not be disappointed!!!

This book is Awesome! If u are ready for battle this is a tool to enhance your weaponry! Not being ignorant of satans devices, this book gives great and skillful insight into the art of war. Know how to pick your battles and when to wage war! As with the disciples were made warriors they still need training to engage in the war....This book gives applicable tools to use the authority God has given to successfully win in this hour!!!

This book will open your eyes to the real battle being fought in Heaven for the soul of man and give sound biblical teaching on how to defeat the enemies of God. Ms Trimm give simple biblical instruction in the Art of Spiritual Warfare that even the babe in Christ can grasp and understand. We have all been given a mandate from Heaven to pray and to pray without ceasing. The secret to every spiritual battle won is thru prayer.
