4.0 out of 5 stars They are very large for small hands!, August 22, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Art and Cook Skimmer, Purple (Kitchen)
I bought 'multiple pieces' of two colors of these kitchen utensils as gifts. Once I received them, I was a little taken aback by how large in width and length the handles are. I don't have small hands but, just holding them, I found them to be a little unwieldly. I may have misunderstood the description but I thought these handles were beneficial for people with carpel tunnel syndrome?? I don't think so!!! I only hope the small hands of my two nieces won't make using these utensils impossible. Since I got them on sale and on the '4 for 3' sale I won't feel like I wasted a LOT of money on these gifts if my nieces just give them away. I had such high hopes that these would be fun and exciting gifts for new cooks but now.....I doubt it. And I am not so certain about the quality either. Some pieces look really cheap and like they won't last for too long under normal usage but since they are gifts....I can't swear by this observation. All I can say is....buyer beware!
