the handle/twist is difficult to use if you want to use a lot of pepper. It isn't shaped for maximum handling.

This grinder is very slow so you have to turn it A LOT to get anything to come out of it. I suppose if you are using very hot spices that aspect could be looked at as an asset, but I don't like having to work that hard for the spices I choose to grind.

This is a pretty good grinder. I find it easy to use as long as you grip it properly. The coarseness adjustment mechanism is easy to use (just turn the knob underneath the grinder) and it's easy to refill (top pops right off).

One thing to note, it does look a little different than in the picture; the transparent portion is just a 1" tall window all the way around rather than the major part of the body.

I only give it 4 stars, instead of 5, because it isn't really made of stainless steel. It's just plastic with a stainless-looking finish. Otherwise I'd probably give it 5 stars.

I think I gave it to a friend that was in need of a new mill, because it didnot work for me- I was looking for something that would grind long pepper. Seemed decent for regular pepper. Had a pretty solid feel to it the one time I tried to use it.

This was what I wanted. Smaller than my old one and clear so you can see when you are running low on peppercorns and need to refill it.

The Arta Demi Pepper Grinder is a good little grinder w adjustable grain size and is quite handsome, esp in the stainless steel version.

It functions perfectly well and i find it very useful. I like it.

These grinders are great, look nice, work flawlessly and have just the right size to be on the table and not be on the way. If you are looking for a grinder that dispenses a lot of spice (for cooking, seasoning recipes) this is not the one for you, this is for table use only, dispensing small amounts at each turn so it gives a lot of control when spicing the food on your plate. Make sure to get thos on the 4-for-3 special offer and it will be an even better deal.

This pepper grinder isn't as lovely as the one it replaced after it shattered on our hardwood kitchen floor, but it does the job! The design is sleek, and the container doesn't take up more than its fair share of spice rack real estate. For the price, I am very happy with this product.

The product delivered is different from the photo shown. In the photo the grinder is mostly glass, but the one delivered there is only about 1.5cm of glass and the rest is stainless steel. Also, when I say stainless steel it is coated plastic.

Not impressed.

maybe it's not perfect. but it's compact, light, easy-to-use, and reasonably priced. about 6 months now, and it still works great!
