No padding was put in with this when it was shipped. I bought 3 (all large size), and only one arrived unbroken. The others were in many fragments. Also, the description says it comes with two dip bowls- but mine had only one dipping bowl- a deep orange colored one. My one bowl is very nice, but I wanted the 3 matching bowls, so I'm a bit disappointed. I would never order this again after seeing the way it was packed. It's so sad- because I am sure my lovely bowls started their journey in one piece.

Used this bowl and accompanying cups for a small get together I was throwing. Very nice. The bowl only comes with one silicone cup so you will need to buy 2 more if you want to display more than one type of dip or salsa. the silicone cups don't hold much so would npt be good for a large party as you would need to keep refilling them too often.
