Artec Textureline Material,

This review is from: Artec Texturline Material, 2-Ounce Jar (Health and Beauty)
This product is VERY difficult to find in stores or beauty salons. In fact, I was told it was discontinued. I have been using it for almost 10 years to make a short cut look "piecey." It is very good and a little goes a long way. Two tubs will last me the most of a year for just me. It is not waxy and can be combined with "Silk" to really smooth frizy hair and have that jagged edge, piecey look. Thanks!

I have very short, curly hair. This product gives great plyable texture so that I can leave my hair curly or use the flat iron to sculpt a different look. I prefer this product because it is dryer than most pastes.

I use Artec Texturline Material to spike my short hair do and it is a wonder product. There are a lot of spiking materials out, today, but Artec is not the consistency of a wax (too harsh and hard to control if hair is too dry) and I use it on completely dry hair without the hair becoming gummy or dirty-feeling. It has a better texture that a paste, although Artec also makes a paste. Try this, you'll like it.
