Since the release of Artemis Fowl in 2001, Eoin Colfer's blockbuster series has sold more than eight million copies in the United States alone. Now, in this second graphic novel installment of the series, fans can follow along as the world's youngest criminal mastermind rushes to save a man who has been kidnapped by the Russian Mafiya: his own father.

Eoin Colfer has once again teamed up with acclaimed comic writer Andrew Donkin to adapt the text for this action-packed, brilliantly illustrated adventure in the Artemis Fowl series.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Book with Pictures, December 7, 2009

Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident Graphic Novel has the same storyline as the book. The art is good and characters are easy to see against the backgrounds. There is a lot of action in this book, and so the graphic novel makes it easier to see the actions as they happen.

For those who never heard of Artemis Fowl, you've been missing out. Look up the books for a more detailed review. The first book in the series is titled simply Artemis Fowl. The publishers just reprinted the books with new covers, so they should be easy to find. It's a great series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Arctic Adventure--great frozen entertainment, September 12, 2009
I have enjoyed all the Artemis Fowl books I have ever read, but this one I think I found the most riveting. The pace is fast, the characters real, and the events plausible. I don't want to give away the plot, but if you like fantasy/mystery, this is a good choice for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Michael S. Artemis Fowl: Arctic Incident, March 26, 2007
A Kid's Review
I liked Artemis Fowl: Arctic Incident very much. The plot was well made and the characters were really memorable. What I liked about the plot was that I couldn't tell what was going to happen next. This book was very well written for a teenage level.
Eventhough the book was well written, the author could have been more descriptive. When ever the author introduces a character he sometimes doesn't mention all that you need to know for that character to really understand the book. Sometimes. Besides that, I thought the book was very good.
I would not recommend this book to anybody under the High school/Middle school level reading level. For that reason, the book contains many challenging words and is, at parts, hard to read. This book was very good and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time I read it. It is truely one of my favorite.
