Eye Opening!,

A few weeks ago, I noticed how pretty a co-worker's eyes were, thinking she was wearing mascara when she usually doesn't. But no, she didn't have any eye makeup on. She had used the Artemis Woman Double Curl and her eyes looked enormous -- they really stood out. So, I picked one up and I am loving it. It heats up in 30 seconds and doesn't take any longer to curl than a regular curler. In fact, the heat works faster and the lashes stay curled and I'm saving on mascara!

I've used heated eyelash curlers for many many years, and after my trusty and inexpensive TRIM eyelash curler stopped working, I needed to find a replacement. The local drugstores did not carry my beloved TRIM so I decided to order one from Amazon, based on the reviews. For $18, this product is a complete rip-off. In theory, with two curlers, it seems that it would deliver amazingly beautiful lashes. However, it's relatively cheap plastic that takes a very long time to heat, and the mechanics of the curler just don't really allow lashes to be curled. I say, go find a different brand. I'm trying to figure out how I can get my money back.

Not that good. Have to hold it to your eyelashes forever to get a curl, and then it makes your eye feel somewhat warm... I went back to using a regular curler after trying this a few times, though that has its drawbacks too. If anyone knows of a brand of mascara that works to give a nice curl I would be interested in hearing about that.

Was very dissappointed with this curler. It doesn't get hot enough, and takes some time for it to reach any kind of heated state.Have had to use my hair dryer to heat it!!

Best eyelash curler ever!,

I received this about 2 weeks ago and I love it! I have used several other battery operated curlers in the past and none of them can compare to this one. It seems to fit my eyes perfectly and really hold the curl.

This is a pretty good product. It starts up within 30-45 seconds. The temperature is just warm to the touch so you know your eyelashes aren't heavily aggravated. The curl does hold all day, even through rubbing of the eyes.
My only complaint is this doesn't fit rounded eyes. I have rounded almond shaped eyes and this isn't curved enough to take the ends of my lashes so the tail of my lashes do not curl. I'd have to go back in with a manual curler for that. I still recommend this to my friends though, because you can still prep your lashes with a regular curler and gently pull your eyes slanted to make a more even line of lashes to fit in this curler.

Did nothing for me, and my lashes are not hard to curl!,

This is my first experience with any heated eyelash curler. I had high hopes for this heated lash curler. Unfortunately, I get a better curl with my metal eyelash curlers (LaCross, Maybelline). I bought this to avoid the pinching I sometimes get with my metal lash curlers. I would say my lashes are not hard to curl. I get a very small curve with the Artemis, but that is only if I hold it for 30 seconds or longer -- too long for the results achieved -- and it does not last. It is no improvement over what I can do with my finger! I have to use my traditional metal curlers to get an actual upsweep to my lashes. In comparing the Artemis Woman Double Curl Gentle Heat Lash Curler to my metal curlers, the concave/convex arc that sits at the lash base is much less prominent on the Artemis than my metal curlers, so perhaps this is why there is not much payoff in a good curl. I thought I had paid about $8 for this product, but it looks like I paid almost $18! I am sooo disappointed. If I could find someone for whom this item actually works, I would give it away rather than throw it away, which is probably what I will have to do unless I find another use for this item on something else (like curling ribbon, holding false eyelases for application?). I do NOT recommend this product.

Better than any heated eyelash curler I've ever owned!!!!,
This review is from: Artemis Woman Double Curl Gentle Heat Lash Curler (Health and Beauty)
This product is the best yet. I was sceptical at first because I have tried all the heated curlers as soon as they come on the market. I was on a quest to own one that will keep my lashes curled for hours and this one does it. It gives them a double whammy. I curls them in two spots - at the base and tip. I love it and tossed all my old ones in the trash. I wouldn't give it up for anything else!

Great Curl - not too hot,
This review is from: Artemis Woman Double Curl Gentle Heat Lash Curler (Health and Beauty)
I bought this after seeing a review in a magazine and it really worked. The curl holds much longer than with my regular eyelash curler and it didn't get too hot, just warm enough. I highly recommend it

This product became my favorite right away. Did everything it promised and I loved the results!. . . While it lasted! I made the purchase on 3/17/2011 and as of Saturday 4/16/2011 it does not work. . . I guess a month of use isn't bad IF THEY ARE SELLING IT AS A DISPOSABLE PRODUCT!. . . Very sad about the loss of my new makeup friend!
