I bought this book because I wanted to make beautiful, boutique-like cards, but couldn't ever quite get the look right. The Artful Card has a combination shabby-chic/whimsical feeling, and the instructions are excellent. There are pictures/instructions for every step of the project.

Well worth the money! I look forward to more books from this author!!!

If you love to create unique cards and you like collage effect, this book helps you get there with ease! The designs are eye catching and the instructions simple. I review this book from time to time and it always gets the creative juices flowing again. If you don't like collage or altered cards, don't get this book. Get Simply Cards instead. This one is a winner if you do though.

I found this book to be extremely useful for making Greeting cards and also for making ACEO, ATC and Collectors Art Cards. Highly recommend this book to anyone interested in any of these art fields.

I received this book just when I came home for Christmas - it was the best present, other than being with family, that I received. I couldn't wait to start trying out some of the techniques. Collage can be intimidating but with the illistrations and colorful pictures anyone can start with the techniques shown here and continue on with whatever materials you choose to create anyway that works for you. This is a great stepping-stone book to get your juices flowing. I have made 18 sets of puzzle-piece collage books for the grandchildren and two complete books for my daughters. Also, the book arrived in perfect condition. Thank you!

This book contains beautiful cards and good instructions on how to make them. As other reviewers stated, they are mostly of the collage/altered book/distressed/aged look and feel. I also thought a nice feature on many cards was that they included a picture of another card with a different theme/color scheme that could be made using the same basic layout and techniques. This book is a pleasure to look at and useful if you are into taking the time to make this style of card.

This book is amazing. The paper craft items are nicely explained, with pictures aand words. AND they are doable. I can't wait to make my own, copying these craft projects.
