4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent approach to arthritis
Anne Brower and Donald Flemming have written an excellent book about the radiology of Arthritis by plain films.

The book is structured by region (i.e. Hands, wrists, spine) and by diseases, such as Osteoarthritis, Lupus, and Gout. The text is concise, easy to follow and the summary points are well organized. The arthritides can be the most challenging...

The arthritides can be the most challenging diseases to diagnose on plain films.

Some images are difficult to appreciate the subtleties of what findings that the authors are trying to convey, at times. Overall, this is a valuable reference for a rheumatologist, musculoskeletal radiologist or general radiologist.

I would recommend an update to include digital radiography and utilization of MRI in arthritides.

VERDICT

I highly recommend this book.
