Don't buy this book! If you could call it a book. It has no publisher or copyright and appears to be a mish mash of poorly edited articles and letters from the 1930's (Dr. Tilden's Health Review & Critique), waxing philosophical on the current (at the time) state of arthritis treatment. Only 8 pages actually address "the cure." Nothing on the cover of the book is actually in the book. Written by Dr. Tilden - no, only the last 8 pages. "Proven method" - no science supporting the cure is presented. Recipes - none. Real stories - only those on the back cover. It's astonishing that Amazon would even sell this. frosty "frosty" is correct - the five star reviews are bogus.

Just so you won't be tempted to throw away your money to find out what the cure is, I shall give it to you here:
1 week of nothing but water and bedrest
1 week of nothing but a water/juice mix
2 weeks of nothing but a few limited raw vegetables and fruit
4 days of another water fast
9 weeks following exact menus containing only fruits, vegetables, tea, potatoes and a smattering of legumes, butter, nuts and oils. PLUS a daily enema!
After this, eliminating dairy, meat and starch.

That's it. Maybe it would work if it didn't kill you.

I wish I had read the reviews before throwing my money away on this "book". I bought this thinking to help my husband. There is no way he could cope with the how to's in this book. Much less purchase the items required in our area of the country. Amazon should take this off their lists.

I have read other books by George Tilden so I was expecting a well researched book. And I was right. He layes out just what to do to stop Arthritis in its tracks, and eliminate it. Arthritis: The Cure lives up to its name - the last book you'll need on getting free of the pills and doctors to cure Arthritis.

Great book!

I bought this book for my wife hoping for a cure as she has Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is nothing more than a bunch of ramblings from 50 to 100 years ago. The "cure" is to essentially to stop eating and drink water for a few weeks while adding modest amounts of fruit juice and vegatables. So none to little food and bedrest. Not going to happen here - There is no way my wife could follow this treatment as she works and we are raising two children.

As there is no publishing information, I think Amazon should remove this book. Let me quote my wife - "It is not worth the paper it is written on." Please look at other books on Amazon for a solution.

I had a photocopy of this book years ago for my father, now, I'm using it myself. It teaches now to end your pain and Arthritis by diet. It worked for my father, and I'm happy I found it again - in this new edition.

Drugs or diet? The medical profession and big pharma say drugs, and Tilden says diet. What makes sense to you? What costs less? What in your heart of hearts would you really think is a cure for arthritis?

Of course its diet, and this diet works, it really, really works. For such a small price less then a feel pills, buy the book and find out. You own it to yourself or family, and even if you are on a drug plan drugs are not the answer.

Read the book, find the cure, its not hard.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the best book written on the curing of Arthritis. Of course, skeptics and doctors and other pill pushers will robotically reject the ideas because this book is all diet related - AND IT WORKS! It will not only cure you, but save you all the wasted money on doctors and pills. An extremely first-rate step-by-step explanation is made in a comprehensive, clear manner. Personally I think this is going to rewrite the health books!

This has to be the best book I have ever read for those who suffer from rheumatoid-arthritis. This diet and cure explained in this book is simple and EFFECTIVE. Suffer from rheumatoid arthritis? Follow this book and eliminate it.

It works! It cures!

Many suffering people have been restored to health through the application of natural medicine after all the conventional treatments have failed. The treatments found in this book will have you tossing away all your pills. Soon (I think) these methods of treatment will come to the fore more and more as the successful alternative to conventional therapy; and for those afflicted, who tried in vain conventional expensive therapy, they present the only choice.

I have photocopied this book too often to give friends, I am glad to see it back in print. This is a FANTASTIC book, full of FOOD cures, not drugs!
