This is an amazingly clear, consise pathway to healing.

I have had the upmost respect for Dr. Sinatra for many years. A DVD you watch, maybe take notes but this book you can read and highlight-- then refer, again and again. My system has low tolerance for prescriptioned medications so Holistic treatment and meds are my way to go. He gives good comparisons the lay person can understand-- for instance in reference to pain killers he tell you Boswellia is Mother Nature's Celebrex. And it is. He tells you how it works in your body-- about studies and research that has been done-- AND how much to take. I wish I had had this book ten years ago-- my fingers would not look like they do now. Plus I would not have caused myself so much abdominal grief-- trying all the NASAIDS, COX-2 and others. This is an
amazingly clear, consise pathway to healing. BUY IT--or regret it! It is helping me and I look forward to growing new cartilage and return to overall good healthy feeling.

I read this book cover to cover in less then a week. This book is easy to read and is very helpful. The concepts in this book are so relevant and profound that I needed additional time to absorb the significance of each brief chapter. This book is far more then a book about arthritis. It has valuable information about healthy living. I'm confident that the concepts in this book will substantially reduce the probability of being afflicted from cancer, heart disease, diabetes, etc.. I have read several books and hundreds if not thousands of articles about arthritis. This book provides more relevant information about preventing and curing arthritis.

What we have been waiting for, a book giving guidelines on how to manage our arthritis. I read this book with excitement,it made sense. I have started the diet and am at the end of the first week and can say I am 90% pain free. I have already recommended it to several people, but we have the problem of purchase in Australia, do something to rectify this.

When he suggested Glucosamine and Chondroitin, I was disappointed. Then I discovered that he is correct about the type of Glucosamine. Based on his information, I was able to locate the form of Glucosamine that he recommended and in a dry form so that it isn't broken down and thus, ineffective.

I found this book an easy read and filled with great info. There was no problem ordering this item from Amazon and it arrived in record time. It's a little more expensive then ordering from the Jim Healthy group. That group caused nothing but problems and the book, although billed twice, was never received. Dr. Sinatra's directions for eliminating arthritis and pain are not complicated or expensive and may help to make the necessary changes in your life.

I've been reading this and making the suggested changes in my diet/lifestyle.

It works and it's not that hard to start changing the food you buy and eat.

The author explains the research and whys for each chapter. I showed some of the info to my DH (things I've been saying to do) and the way it is written in this book finally made it through to him. We are making changes in our grocery shopping and food preparation.

I highly recommend this book if you have arthritis (osteo or rheumatoid).
