Burt Bacharach's "Missing" album, May 24, 2010
For some reason, this Burt Bacharach album has been difficult to find on CD, but if you're a Bacharach fan, it's a must-have.

Good re-issue cd direct from california, January 4, 2011
This is a Friday Music CD, direct from California, Made in USA, cd pressed in New York by Ryko licensed by Warner on the Rhino sub label. As many times as I heard this song on the radio in the 80's and 90's, I can't believe it took this long to get it out on a normal cd. This cd was better than I expected. The audio on this disc is natural and has not been mashed or multi-band compressed. This one was probably a recording from one of those sticky-shed tapes from the early 80's, so I give them alot of credit for making this CD. Many engineers are afraid to "work the magic" on those tapes which is either a win or complete loss.
I have not yet listened to the first cd issue which was foreign only, so I can't give a comparison, and I am currently suffering from a worn out Denon, so I won't be able to compare the vinyl. I do remember the 45 sounding really good, and a cart tape at a radio station that was impressive but noisy. Fool Me Again is another song I like off of this album, and I also like the tune from Ambrosia.
This CD is a must have for DJs, Radio Stations, and Collectors. Or maybe if you are just looking for "The Best That You Can Do". I'm not a fan of mp3 files, and so the CD is worth the price.
If you get caught between the Moon and New York City, you'd probably be a Russian cosmonaut stuck in a space station for about two months. I know it's crazy. But it's true!

Get it at iTunes, May 3, 2008
This review is from: Arthur: The Album (Audio CD)
So glad to see this available, but get it remastered at iTunes. Maybe WB will get the hint and rerelease the CD!
