The rectangular, granite platter sits level on four legs and measures 12 by 6 inches--just large enough to comfortably hold a big chunk of cheddar or a selection of three smaller options. The accompanying knife offers a compact, serrated blade with a single bevel and a piercingly sharp tip curving upward. Its handle uses the designer's signature aluminum alloy and features a molded cluster of grapes, vines, and leaves. This aluminum, grape detailing is not only repeated as an ornament on one side of the cutting board, but it also comprises the body of the accompanying 9-1/4-by-3-by 3-inch cracker tray. The tray features a triangular shape with one corner pointing down thus enabling it to cradle its contents. Ideal as a housewarming or shower gift, this set can be used with other coordinating pieces to create a cohesive look. The product arrived as expected and I love this set to give as gifts. I was a bit dissappointed in the gift wrapping that I paid for as it was not done very nicely. Just wrapping paper and no ribbon or bow. Had to re-wrap the gift to make it look better as a gift.
