Amazon.com Review
These petite, 5-inch-long grape-handled knives are just the right serving tools for spreading chicken liver pâté onto baguette slices or Roquefort cheese onto crackers at an upscale function. The brilliant luster of the handles captures the elegance of antique silver but they are actually made of hand-polished aluminum, which is much easier for today's busy hostesses to maintain. The handles feature a hand-crafted design of bunches of grapes with leaves and vines, while the blades are made of stainless steel and are separated from the handles by an attractive gold-colored band. The aluminum handles mean that these spreaders are not dishwasher-safe but clean easily with mild soap and water. This set of four spreaders makes a wonderful shower gift for the bride who loves to entertain. As Arthur and Elena Court, owners of Arthur Court Designs, are avid conservationists, a percentage of all proceeds of their products go directly to wildlife preservation and environmental research and education projects.
