I have mostly all the Arthur chapter books, and this is almost at the top of the list. I liked this book because Sue Ellen and Fern want to find out what their "friendship rating" is. But since the magazine with the test is for teenagers, it wasn't a good test for them. Read the book to find out why!

These Arthur Chapter books are great. It covers most of what was in the T.V. show. Fun and entertaining story. You get to know the characters and the drawings, just like the show, are adorable.

A Kid's Review on February 14, 2012
Format: Paperback
This book Arthur and the Popularity Test, by Marc Brown, is for children who are ready to read on their own. This thought-provoking take willsurely be a hit along Arthur fans. In the bok, Arthur feels mad because he is reading a teenage girl magazine. Sue Ellen and Fern are teasing him because he is reading these magazines. Also, they are annoying him by laughing a lot. He takes the populary test in the teenage girl magazine, but he doesn't like to read these magazines.
One of the ways Arthur handles life is up and down through imagination. One of my favorite parts in the story is when Arthur imagines that he was going to get a good grade on the popularity test, but he got an F and he was surprised. When he got that grade he was surprised because he tried his best and came across a bad grade. That's its called Arthur and the Popularity Test.
Are you looking for a girl magazine? You should read Arthur and the Popularity Test. This book was so good, five tears came out of my eyes! I couldn't even feel it, that is how good this book was. There are a lot of mysteries in the book. If you read Arthur you would not even take your hands off of it. If you like reading Arthur, go to Barnes and Nobles and pick out Arthur and the Popularity Test.

The rest of you may like this, but I just personally don't. It just has a boring plot, finding the Popular Girl magazine and just taking that popularity test. So if I were you I wonldn't read this boring book.
