Arthur Rackham has been one of my biggest influences as an illustrator, and this book has been an excellent tool. Though the biography is somewhat unorderly, the illustrations shine through. Rackham has the been the inspiration of many great illustrators today-Zwerger, Hague, Froud, to name a few. A wonderful resource for aspiring artists.

Worth every penny. Gives an insight into who the man was, which makes his art even better to see. This books is PACKED with pictures; everything from his early watercolors to his later oil paintings. Worth buying even if the price was 3 times as high. Love this book.

This will be handed down for generations. The illustrations are gorgeous!!! There are page after page of color plates by Rackham ! plus an extensive biography of Rackham including his immediate family and friends. Lots of pictures and smaller prints all through the book. You really will be amazed when you open this book. L.L

This is a wonderful book for anybody with an interest in classic illustration. The pictures are reproduced well. There are a lot of them and they are a good size so the detail can be seen easily.

I've checked this book out so often from my local library that I decided to buy it. I'm glad I did. It's a great resource for an artist or art appreciator.
