It's D.W.! And a Gerbil! Lots to Love.,
By George Buttner "Agent0042" (Dayton, Ohio United States) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Arthur and the School Pet (Step-Into-Reading, Step 3) (Paperback)
This one is titled as an Arthur story, but it's really D.W. who steals the show. She's asked to take care of a preschool pet, a gerbil named Speedy, over the Christmas holiday. (A situation that may be familiar to many readers.) Although Arthur's helpful to her, he also discourages her idea of teaching the gerbil tricks. But this doesn't stop D.W.! In addition to the good, original story, the book also includes wonderful illustrations and dedicated readers will be able to spot the name of at least one of Marc Brown's children. Recommended for Arthur fans and a must for D.W. fans.

A mediocre book with large stickers you are suppose to put over the little symbols. Stickers are mostly too large to fit in the space, so they end up covering the words. Don't waste your money on this.
