Lots of fun until the stickers run out!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Arthur's Boo-Boo Book (Nifty Lift-and-Look) (Board book)
We had lots of fun with this book until the stickers ran out. Then we used real band-aids. The book does a good job of teaching how to take care of a wound but in a fun way.

Dont be misled by the title "Aurther's Boo Boo Book (Nifty Lift-and-Look)" like I was. I thought there were going to be lot's of flaps but there are none. Its only about 5-6 pages long, showing 4 different types of ouchies (sports cuts/scrapes, burned by a hot pot, and getting blister from running shoes). The back page comes with one sheet of stickers that include band-aids, bravery metals, medicine, and lips (to kiss & make it better). I was disappointed in how few band aid stickers there are, and have really had to limit my daughter's use of them-not sure what Im gonna do when we run out. I tried using a real band-aid once, but the adhesive was way too sticky & left residue on the book so I wouldnt recommend that.My daughter does love the book however! She loves seeing the boo boo's, then covering them over & over with the stickers. Overall I think the book is okay, just dont expect any flaps. It does go into how to take care of a boo boo (washing it with soap & water, putting medicine on it, putting a band aid on, and finally getting a kiss from mom to make it better), and some safety precautions (like wearing a helmet or using pot holders). We have another book that is really educational and does have flaps & textures that I love called "The Boo Boo Book" by Joy Masoff. Its a little bit more in depth & graphic, but my daughter loves putting the stickers in that book too.

The item has useable stickers to place on characters "boo boos". The stickers were all over the book and there were only a couple. I had this book in the past and it had about two dozen bandaid stickers.
