Marc Brown has a talent for capturing situations to which kids can easily relate. As always, this Arthur book is fun and held my daughter's attention. I'm always glad when she chooses Arthur for her bedtime story.

In this great Marc Brown story, a very generous Arthur helps all his friends with their school project... with a nice conclusion.

My daughter learned a good deal about group sharing and helping each other in this short but very focused story.

I particularly loved the absolutely gorgeous double pages drawings in this book.
Perhaps it is the generous perspectives of the indoor and outdoor scenery who affords the characters a lot of breathing space to move around inside the 8" X 16" format of the open pages...
Or maybe it is the artwork expending all the way to the edges of the pages without the visual interruption of a decorative border that transforms viewing the pictures into larger imaginative vistas...
Whatever it is, the art in this Arthur adventure makes the book very special for me.

As a bonus, Marc Brown includes his two sons, Tolon and Tucker, as artist and author in the drawings.

This one is a true masterpiece in the children illustrated book format.
