I wanted a book of the beginning. this book, true to its title, is about the knights. Very good, well told.

I love this book because it has a lot of fighting and chivalry and I am obsessed with knights. There are some sad parts in the book and a lot of bloodshed but there are courageous acts. I recommend this book to teens and young adults.

Keeps all the good stuff and leaves out the nasty things. Good for young readers. Clear writing but keeps enough archaic language to maintain the medieval flavor.
