Revenge isn’t the only dish served cold...

Book Description

The year is two thousand and thirteen. The United States is braced for a potential government shutdown and a US default on its debt. Washington is at the height of political dysfunction.

Renowned Harvard professor, Winston Bernard Huntster II, has just aired a controversial documentary on the History Channel. To the millions of American viewers, it depicts an eerily striking comparison to the egocentric arrogance of the political landscape of present day. As Huntster had intended, the weekly series ignites an indignation toward the politicians on Capital Hill. It is the fuel that will fire a movement to take back Washington D.C.

Now, the man behind the firestorm is found dead in Boston Common from a gunshot wound to the head. His death has outraged an angry nation and incited its citizens to take to the streets. They will soon learn there is but one weapon that can crack the stronghold on Capitol Hill--the power of Article V.

It's hard to imagine that this plot is fiction - it's too close to reality.

Anyone who is fed up with our current government and who has said "Oh well, there is nothing we can do about it" must read this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Will Get You Thinking July 17, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I would like to believe that no matter which side of the political spectrum you fall, with the total dysfunction Congress has become about 60% of the population would enjoy the premise behind this book; the remaining 40% who wouldn’t like it are the ideological extremists of both major political parties here in the USA.

There’s really nothing earth-shattering in this book, but the author tells a good tale and gives you a lot to think about with the political elite that never seem to leave office and are distanced from reality. It makes you daydream thinking of how our country and economy could work if our government compromised and ruled vs. having every little thing be about who can score political points.

Democrat or Republican, if you like a good thriller that will have you thinking long after you complete this book, I would give this one a read.

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS ONE WILL GRAB YOU February 11, 2014
Format:Paperback
Richard Rudomanski's first two novels, Sealed Correspondence and The Note, showed great promise with clever plot lines and memorable characters. His newest novel, Article V, however, is a quantum leap towards "Best Seller" recognition. Though fictional, this provocative and timely work forces one to consider the here and now, and wonder if an Article V Convention might be our only recourse if we continue down our present debt-ridden fiscal road.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good, Better, Best!! March 4, 2014
By JimP
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I'm a slow reader, procrastinator, and lover of the happy endings. I often reread entire chapters, pages, and or paragraphs to ensure that my vision or interpretation of what is being told is crystal clear. Amazingly, Rudomanski's writings paints those pictures and allows the reader to not only be entertained, but adds knowledge and gives food for thought...... Some authors quickly find their niche and each successive book reflects that sameness over and over. Rudomanski hasn't fallen into that pattern, this is a bonus for you and me, so far each book has been different from the last, showing his willingness to explore new areas and do the research.
I'm currently reading Article V, his latest, I am actually reading more often......... JimP

5.0 out of 5 stars "I'M MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!" February 27, 2014
By Lubee
Format:Kindle Edition
Just as Howard Beale struck a chord with workers everywhere in the classic movie "Network", Rudomanski captures that theme in his latest book Article V. Anyone who is fed up with our current government and who has said "Oh well, there is nothing we can do about it" must read this. This novel should be an instruction manual for a rebellion to start now and spread across our nation. A great fast reading novel by Rudomanski that should go to the top of the best seller list.

5.0 out of 5 stars What an Excellent Idea Whose Time has Come March 4, 2014
By Melinda
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This story should be the blueprint for the people of these United States as we move forward in attempting to gain control of government who has lost sight of who they serve.

Article V is an outstanding story of a man who orchestrated the uprising of the American people in a methodical and peaceful way which if fully supported by the Constitution.

The story is enlightening, it is hopeful and it is one way America could move forward.

Highly Recommended for all Americans!

5.0 out of 5 stars Stranger than truth February 17, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This latest book by Rudomanski looks at the current political situation in our country: a dysfunctional congress, a skyrocketing national debt, and distrust of all things political on the part of U.S. citizens. Article V allows for the American people to take matters into their own hands through a constitutional convention. Who knew that was actually possible! This is a very real possibility for our country's future. The authors grabs and keeps the reader's attention throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed this political thriller.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth the read May 15, 2014

Frightenly like the real thing. Reads like a news article. Current events could be the title of this book, since it is a reflection of what is really going on in Washington.

5.0 out of 5 stars Society holding a mirror to itself August 6, 2014
By Kenneth
Format:Kindle Edition
They say history repeats itself. When a university professor does a documentary about the fall of the Roman Empire and then is murdered in a mafia hit, investigators discover fraud, government corruption and ties from the mafia to Congress. I like books like this, which use a story to make an interesting point. I found it to be fascinating and something everyone should read, no matter what their politics.
