This review is from: Book of Artifacts (Advanced Dungeons & Dragons/Rulebook) (Hardcover)
I apologize for that title. Couldn't help myself.

"The Book of Artifacts is a supplemental sourcebook to the core rules of the second edition of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. This book, published by TSR, Inc. in 1993, details 50 different artifacts, special magic items found within the game at the Dungeon Master's option." - from the Wikipedia article.

Full of candy for 2nd edition, much of which can easily be used in later editions. As noted, it is loaded with cool items of varying degrees of power; perhaps equally important is the section on the creation of magic items, which was mysterious (at best) in 2nd ed. before the publication of this book.
