Cooperation: The Simulations Continue...,

This review is from: Artificial Morality: Virtuous Robots for Virtual Games (Paperback)
Artificial Morality: Virtuous Robots for Virtual Games (1992) came between Axelrod's "The Evolution of Cooperation "The Evolution of Cooperation (1984)" and later "The Complexity of Cooperation: Agent-Based Models of Competition and Collaboration (1997)" (I haven't read "The Evolution of Cooperation: Revised Edition (2006)" yet).
Danielson delves deeper into details of explorations into the "Prisoner's Dilemma" with many variations on a theme. This book is a wonderful companion to the two books above. Short examples are illustrated in Prolog for the more geek minded, but that is not necessary to enjoy and understand the material presented. |
