5.0 out of 5 stars Very natural-looking palm tree, easy to assemble
This artificial palm tree looks very much like the real one I had before, and it was easy to assemble. I planted it in ready-mixed joint compound from the home improvement store, using a normal plastic pot with a trash bag in it to close the holes at the bottom. When the joint compound was cured all the way (which took several days), I covered the surface with natural...

3.0 out of 5 stars why no pot?
Why in the world would you sell an artificial plant with no pot? If a person wants an artificial plant, they don't want the hassle of trying to get it planted into a pot. Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: ONE 8' Artificial Tropical Areca Palm Tree, with No Pot, Minor Assembly Required.
This artificial palm tree looks very much like the real one I had before, and it was easy to assemble. I planted it in ready-mixed joint compound from the home improvement store, using a normal plastic pot with a trash bag in it to close the holes at the bottom. When the joint compound was cured all the way (which took several days), I covered the surface with natural soil cover material from the same store, and the result looks so natural that I have to remind myself sometimes that this tree doesn't need to be watered anymore. The branches have wires inside that allow for easy individual adjustments. Altogether I am absolutely happy with this purchase.
