Jane Petitjean's Haggadah is a beautiful, inspired and thoughtful reflection of the Judaic spiritual journey and in a larger sense, the spiritual journey of all mankind. The artwork accompanying the text compels the reader to view the story of the Exodus as a journey common to all persons at all times - our journey, the human experience. Everyone who is aware of their quest for understanding of their relationship to G-d will be touched by this volume, regardless of their faith.

Last night, I enjoyed the "Artist's Haggadah" for the first time. This Haggadah is a "must own" for any Jewish family looking to shed new light on this special occasion. Using the artistic process as a metaphor for the holiday story and it's symbols, you are carefully walked through each aspect of the seder. With attention to ceremonial detail, elegant images, and a sense of fun "The Artist's Haggadah" is a delight.

If you've been using the Herbert Bronstein Haggadah from 1974 because you just can't give up the lovely artwork and gender neutral language...this is YOUR new Haggadah!
