One of the best books ever written about Holocaust,

This review is from: The Artists of Terezin (Paperback)
Powerfully written book about a concentration camp in Czechoslovakia. This was not an extermination camp. Terezin was set up by the Nazis as a big fraud. When the Red Cross or other observers came to the camp they stocked food in the stores and cleaned the place up. As soon as the Red Cross left, everything went back to normal - starvation, beatings and torture. Thousands either died in the camp or were eventually transported to the extermination camps. In my opinion one of Gerald Green's best books. He has authored 25.
