5.0 out of 5 stars This book saved my life!, April 19, 2003
By A Customer
I read this book while working for a prototypical (as described in the book) technocrat, and was going crazy trying to cope with him. I could not understand why I had such a hard time working for him until I read this book, and finally gained an insight into his personality.
In all the companies I've worked in (I'm a consultant), I've found the lessons from this book have rung true, and have provided a true barometer of who to trust and who not to trust, and where a company is likely headed.

I also think this book helps debunk the myth that anyone can be a great leader if they read enough books and take the "right" motivational courses.
