This film has a 3D quality to it; the black lines can be mistaken for the leading of stained glass. It gives the room has a very nice lighting effect, it diffuses daylight but doesn't darken, which is just what I wanted. It is totally private, no one can see inside the covered windows. Easy to apply. Other websites had higher cost for this same product. Amazon had the best value. Very happy with the room's transformation.

I purchased a vintage tudor style condo five years ago that did not have any window blinds or other treatments on three sliding glass patio doors that all lead to a common 2nd floor patio. I purchased four of these panels for use on the sliding glass doors in my bedroom for privacy and until I could have more permanent window coverings. I thought it would be a temporary solution. Well, let me say that this treatment is so beautiful, it has become permanent. I did eventually add shades to pull down for complete privacy, but I love to raise the shade and see this beautiful window treatment that looks like frosted etched glass. It blocks the glare and still allows the light in. Five years later, it is as perfect as the day I applied it, even in Colorado weather with extreme changes in weather conditions. After looking locally, I am so happy to find the same pattern again on Amazon and ordered four more panels to apply to my dining room patio doors to create the same effect. I do have blinds and drapes there, but it is so beautiful to open those up and see the beauty this treatment creates. There is a subtle blue color that comes through that creates a lovely diffused light. I receive a lot of compliments from neighbors and guests, and I couldn't be happier with this decorative solution.
