Absolutely beautiful for my needs,

This product really gives the illusion of stained-glass in my kitchen window which looks out to a very white wall. It minimizes the glare while providing the illusion of natural outdoors. Friends and family have walked in my kitchen and not even noticed it because it looks so natural - and when I point it out to them they say how beautiful it is. I plan to order more in other patterns for other windows in my home. Also, the photo posted online of this particular is washed out and does not do the product's natural, jewel-toned colors justice.
NOTE: I suggest you create a slight beveled effect by leaving at least a quarter- to half-inch space between the film and the window panes on all sides .. that way you can still "see out" the window, yet the pattern still looks seamless.

I would agree with the 2 star rater that this product is not for windows that get long term direct sunlight. If it does heat up I'm very sure it will have a plasticy smell. I used it on my west side window that has direct sun but only for an hour or two, so far so good. (I do not smoke)It's very easy to install, cuts like butter with a new exacto knife and has no glue, it's a static cling system. Like the snowflakes on classroom windows. A whole roll consists of 24 inches by 36 inches. There is no graph paper on the opposite side so be sure to get a square (90 degree ruler) and a large flat surface on which to cut. The plastic doesn't rip easily. I'm very happy with the end results. The pattern is very large, one flower is almost as big as my hand. I would have liked more in a roll and smaller detail that's why this product doesn't get 5 stars.

I have a weird window on my front door which solicitors think invites them to stick their face up to and look around my home. It's been really annoying. I got this window film because it's pretty, will add some flair to the living room, and goes well with my decor. I'm actually quite pleased with it.
The pattern was larger than what I expected from the photo, but it's still very pretty and works well to block the window. I traced the window onto the film backing and cut it a few times until it matched up. Just clean and spray the glass down with lightly soaped water and it went on smoothly without any air bubbles. I could slide it around a bit to make it fit while it was still wet. I was nervous about some of the reviews about adhering it, but had none of the problems other reviewers talked about. It has a good thickness, went on easily, looks attractive, and the best part, people can't see in even with their face up against the glass. Job done. This is a good product.

I've had Magnolia up in my window for over a year in a west facing window that gets afternoon sun all summer, and I haven't had any trouble with smells. I love it. I'm usually pretty picky about things that smell.
I just discovered the new Vienna image, and it works really well on my front door- it has some clear panels so I can tell who is on the other side. I love that there is no adhesive. [...]

I had done some internet research looking for a window film for a basement bathroom because I wanted to get rid of the curtains. Found the Magnolia one online, and when I did a price search through froogle the amazon site came up as the best price. Arrive quickly. Was very easy to install, stays in place, and looks great from both inside the room and from outside of house. Only negative: Did not come with squeegee type tool to work out the bubbles for smooth application. Luckily I had kept one from an earlier purchase that did the trick.

I would have liked this design better if it had more of a raised texture to it. but all in all, i love it. it looks so good on our front window, and I was worried about the smell someone else mentioned. but for us, it gets full sun for the 2nd half of the day, and we havent had any issues with an odor.

i've used window film before, so i had high expectations going in. the picture is pretty, but the film itself is just printed with the photo of stained glass. there is no texture to add realism as with the clematis/water lily print and the frank loyd wright-esque film. it does let light filter through and is very simple to put up, it just looks much cheaper and less like stained glass than the films that have the variation and texture.

I used this pattern in an antique windowpane I got from a tear-down and have it hanging over my vinyl window, so it cuts out the glare. I've posted a pic so you can see what it looks like. To address other's concerns: Mine hangs in direct light, has done for 5 years, there is no odor at all. I have had the ends curl up after a few years, but a bit of clear glue solves that problem. Very easy to install. I get a lot of compliments. This pattern's colors are nicer than the photo, as another reviewer suggested. Magnolia has a pale pinks woven through it, so when I can find tulips with the palest pink petals, they're a nice compliment.

This window film is very attractive to look at and was easy to fit to an indoor window between rooms. It is necessary to follow the cutting instructions carefully and to cut slightly over rather than under size because otherwise it will leave a slight gap around the edges. It looks exactly like a real stained-glass window when viewing through the glass to the film side, especially when light is coming from the film side. It's great stuff and a good buy.
