Moving Australian Romantic Suspense,

Bronwyn Parry's romantic suspense is unashamedly Australian but does not rely on stereotypes of any sort. The heartbreaking back story of the destruction of Bella's faith in people - her own people - and the redemption she finds through working on the case of a missing child make for an engrossing story.
The romance between Bella and Alec moves quickly, but feels real. This is much more of a romance than the second book in the series (Dark Country) seemed to be, but the mystery of the crime is still the most prominent element of the story. I cannot wait for the final book in the trilogy. This country needs more authors writing in this genre. This is really a four and a half star read. |
