BEFORE I HEARD THIS SINGLE, IF ANYONE HAD ASKED ME I WOULD HAVE NEVER NEVER PUT GEORGE MICHAEL AND MARY J. BLIGE TOGETHER. I THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD NOT BE A GREAT MIXTURE. BOY WAS I WRONG! I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING AS MOVING AS THIS DUO IN A LONG TIME. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY COULD GET TOGETHER AGAIN. THE GROUP JODECI REMADE STEVIE WONDER'S LATELY AND IS WAS THE PITS, THE GROUP INTRO REMADE A RIBBON IN THE SKY AND IT WAS THE BEST EVER. NOW WITH MARY AND GEORGE IT'S A TIE WITH INTRO, BUT I MUST SAY THIS WINS HANDS DOWN. I FELT EVERY WORD THEY SANG. IT WAS GREAT, IT'S A MUST HAVE FOR A FAN/COLLECTOR OF STEVIE WONDER, GEORGE MICHAEL, AND MS.MARY J. BLIGE.

I was in Europe last winter and I was blown away by this video I kept seeing. It was for the song "As". I was disappointed when I returned to America only to find the song not being played at all. My prayers have been answered and it has now been released as a cd-single import. Run, I REPEAT, run out and get this puppy. The song rocks and there are two other versions included as well. Plus the cd contains three full-length videos (and of course "As" is the first one). You will not be diappointed...

It just sometimes surprises me when it really comes to songs released overseas. It still sometimes is just a shame why they haven't been released here in the U.S. to any detail. When it comes to George Michael, his craft really is overseas, and not as popular here as it used to be in the 80's. His duet with Mary J. Blige, on the remake of Stevie Wonder's As, was only released overseas for George Michael's hits album Ladies & Gentleman: The Best Of George Michael. All in all, the Stevie Wonder remake is great, and it just surprises me why these kinds of songs aren't issued here like they should be. If you can't find this classic on the Import version of the Greatest Hits record, try getting it as a import single, or just hope that another Greatest Hits record of George Michael's music comes out very soon, with this song on it. I don't know why people are missing it here.

My wife and I danced to this song at our wedding and it has remained a favorite of both of us. Amazing as it may be, this rendition may be as good as Stevie Wonder's original!

I love this song! It truly rocks..I never thought those two voices would blend together, but it works wonderfully!

Although I have been a fan of George's since his early Wham! days, I have been a bit disappointed with both the quantity and quality of his work product of late. This two-track CD, however, is a worthwhile addition to any fan's collection. The title track, "As", a duet with Mary J. Blige, is a soulful remake of the classic Stevie Wonder song, produced by Babyface. It's a shame that MCA records (Blige's label) wouldn't permit this track to appear on the U.S. version of George's "Best of" set. Just as good is the b-side, a live, acoustic guitar version of "A Different Corner." Let's hope George's next album meets the high standard he's set with this 2-track set!

Wonderfully done remix. I hate to say it but I love this one better than Stevie's original version.

this is The 2nd time that George Michael has COvered a Stevie Wonder Song&he is two for two.They Won't go when I go is a Great Cover&this one is Good.I Enjoy the orginal Better Cuz Stevie is Stevie.but George Michael together with Mary J.Bliege&under Babyface's Production do a really good solid job here.

I love George Michaels and I am Mary J. Blige's #1 Fan. This union of my two favorite artist is a magnificent one. This remake of Stevie Wonder's "As" is quite soulful. Mary J. Blige truly has no limits. Her voice continues to touch my heart with her unique soulfulness. This CD is a "must-have".

I can't tell you how great this single is. I had a friend pick it up for me when he was in London. Mary J. can never be accused of having a stellar voice but she completly lets it work for her in the this awesome Stevie Wonder remake. My boyfriend even told me, "I hate remakes and I don't care for GM but this is the best remake I have ever heard of a Stevie Wonder song." I want it at my wedding that's how much I enjoyed this version. YOu also get a bonis of "Different Corner" from his Wham! days and a remix of AS that you would be thrilled to play at a house party.
