As God is My Witness is a heart-wrenching autobiography of Carl Rosenberg's life under Nazi rule. As a Jew, he was subject to all the horrors we have read about time and again, but his great detail and simple truths humble those of us who have made a passion of reading Holocaust related materials. This empassioned book bleeds for all those lost in the Holocaust.

I was 25. I met Carl in Omaha when I bought my first real business suit and made my first visit to a real tailor. He nealt down to cuff and mark my pants. He was so polite and father-like. As he extended his arm, his cuff raised and exposed the numbers on his wrist. I knew nothing about the holocaust other than what I had learned in school. He gave me a copy of this book and I read it. Several others have read the same copy. 20 years later, I can almost remember every word. Please take the time to read Carl's book. You will not find a more true, less filtered account of the horrors that occurred.
