Good album. Reproduction clean. Excellent choices. However, a greater variety of styles would be appeciated. Somewhat monotonous as is.

If you want the "Real Thing" this is the collection for you. And, look at the PRICE! As the lyrics on Head Rag Hop ask: "Daddy, how am I doin' it?" and Answer: "Can't be beat, Baby!" This is the early stuff - mainly 1920's and 30's. If you had all of the Boogie Woogie records in your collection you'd burn this CD to make converts of the uninitiated! Nearly all of the tunes from the expensive Document CD's and more! What are you waiting for? This is the one!
