This review is from: As Recorded at Msg (Audio CD)
This is one of the four historic concerts Elvis gave at Madison Square Garden. (This one was recorded at 10 June 1972, Saturday evening performance). This is one of the best Elvis Concerts BMG/RCA has ever released! Starting with the tremendous "Also Sprach Zarathustra" you can feel the excitement and then, finally, Elvis enters the stage. He graps the microphone and we're off: That's All Right (rapidly, a little nervous), Proud Mary (very nice version) and so on. Highlights of the show are his interpretations of The Impossible Dream, Suspicious Minds and an American Trilogy. This album is a must have for all Elvisfans around the world, especially because this is one of the few complete early 70's Elvisshows released by BMG/RCA.
