5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Song, Remixers & Remixes...Just Amazing!!!
'As the Rush comes' is a mega cool hardcore trance song. the strong pulsing beat goes well with the brilliant vocals presents and eerie whispers and 'ahh's. the song was produced by Gabriel & Dresden, they seem to continue their consistency with releasing good songs/remixes. the 2nd track which starts off the remixes of the single is the 'Gabriel & Dresden Sweeping...

1.0 out of 5 stars Trash
This is probably one of the most disgusting songs I've heard in 2003. People try to counter attack me by asking "Your saying that because it's not cool to like huh? " bah. I heard this crap song before any noob in the trance genre even began talking about it. If you're a veteran in the prog/trance world you'll know exactly what I'm talking about (hog wash mainstream dance...

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Song, Remixers & Remixes...Just Amazing!!!, August 16, 2004
This review is from: As the Rush Comes (Audio CD)
'As the Rush comes' is a mega cool hardcore trance song. the strong pulsing beat goes well with the brilliant vocals presents and eerie whispers and 'ahh's. the song was produced by Gabriel & Dresden, they seem to continue their consistency with releasing good songs/remixes. the 2nd track which starts off the remixes of the single is the 'Gabriel & Dresden Sweeping Strings Remix'. it's technically not really a remix but rather an extended version of the 1st track clocking in at nearly 11 minutes. it's the brilliance of the first track just more of it! the extended version gives the song a chance to flow abit more naturally, the radio edit of the song seems kind of abrupt but that is rectified here. the 'Armin Van Buuren's Universal Religion Remix' is the 3rd track and continues the trance styling. this track however has a more enigmatic feel to it. armin van buuren uses the ethereal 'ahhh's and whispers from the track quite ingeniously...he brings into focus the whispers that are to be present while the vocals are being sung. even some jungle type sounds are throw in for originality. this remix is a really smooth one and lives up to my expectations of armin van buuren. the 'above & beyond dynaglide remix' again is another trance type remix. they remain true to their unique style of trance. if you've ever heard an above & beyond remix, then you'll absolutely love this remix, they always do a great job!. while all the other mixes on this single try to focus on an enigmatic sound, good ole above & beyond try to be a little bit different from the rest and stay true to their sound. their usual hyper trance style is used, while they do throw in some synths that try to maintain a very mysterious sound, this remix out of the whole lot is the most energetic and fun to listen to. the last mix 'Gabriel & Dresden Chillout Mix' is the most subdued version of the song...which is really obvious by the title. this remix is truly a great remix, it was a good idea to invlude a good chillout mix of the song since that would really take advantage of the enigmatic feel of the song and take it to the max! Gabriel & Dresden do not fail to please, the synths used seem to create a very icy feel and the song reaches a whole new level of uncanny. the video is also included as a nice bonus, it's just the vocalist in a dark-ish room dancing with some other people, it's nice and simple. altogether with just under 40 minutes of music this is a no brainer! this single boasts some great remixes by top-notch remixers at their best. for every trance addict out there, if this is not in your collection you should get this immediately of else something is seriously wrong with you haha! actually any person with the slightest or remote interest in trance or even dance music, this is a really worth the money!

5.0 out of 5 stars Motorcycle Reved Me Up With "As The Rush Comes", March 27, 2004

The Spastic Fantastic Mighty House Cat "Frosty5" (Waltham, Massachusetts, United States, Planet Earth) - See all my reviews
This review is from: As the Rush Comes (Audio CD)
This song was originally released to some other label around a year ago. Now it's released on Positiva. I grew to like this song a lot. This is definitely a trance hit. And the female vocals are excellent ("we drift deeper into the sun, life goes on").
The CD single includes the radio edit (as usual to just about all CD singles) and mixes by Gabriel & Dresden, Armin van Buuren, and Above & Beyond plus a music video for the PC. The Gabriel & Dresden sweeping strings mix is the extended remix of the radio edit. The name "Motorcycle" must be a different moniker for Gabriel & Dresden. G&D also have a chillout remix in the CD single. I like it.
Once again, another reason why trance is still alive. I see a bright future for trance. There's also a possible good future for Motorcycle (or perhaps Gabriel & Dresden) if they release another new single.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must Own for all trance fans!!, December 29, 2004
This review is from: As the Rush Comes (Audio CD)
I don't know what single this "mike e "dumb spark" is referring to because "as the rush comes" is one of the best trance hits I have ever heard. I have quiet a large selection of trance songs (in the 100s by now) and this single is simply one the very best I own. Just listen to it once and form your own opinion. I guarantee you will love it if you like trance. If you do not like trance whatsoever there is a change you may not like the single "as the rush comes" - but I doubt it.

Motorcycle is the best new artist to arive on the music scene in the last 20 years !! "As The Rush Comes" is the most provocative sexy dance song ever written or produced . The vocalist has the sexiest voice I have ever heard and the beats just make you have to dance , no matter if you can or can't dance . This is an Anthem dance smash hit song and should be played at every party . I would give this a 1000 star rating . If you love dance or synth pop you will jump over joy for this CD single ..... embrace me , surround me .. "As The Rush Comes" .Ed Kary

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic single remix!, January 29, 2004
This review is from: As the Rush Comes (Audio CD)
I placed this order on 12/27/03 and just finally rcvd it! I popped it in and I am glad I waited to see if it would ship. The remixes on here are beautiful! I love all the remixes. The chillout mix is very seductive and slow with sexy beats to it. This song just takes my imagination to a whole new level. Buy this CD, it is VERY hard to find.

Yeah, everyone is right about this song and the remixes: they are great and they have become classic. This European issue is surprisingly better than the domestic single, since it contains another two mixes plus the video. It is computer-friendly, too: the CD allows you to listen to the songs on the computer. Finally, Gabriel & Dresden, you have a very, very promising carrer. Congratulations!

5.0 out of 5 stars U.K. IMPORT Version ! Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes Mixes, March 8, 2004
This review is from: As the Rush Comes (Audio CD)
This is one of the Best! Trance Anthem Singles to Get! It is hard to find the import version. (Only Small Merchants) I've been waiting over a month to get this from a zShop seller but Amazon and Borders finally has it imported from the U.K.!

" Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes " is an awesome track that has been around since at least May of last year and handpicked to be included on live sets by DJ Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren and others (PVD?). It is so popular that people in the NYC metro area will hear it on mainstream radio 103.5 KTU !
