Bought mine a few months ago, read the instructions, and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm supposed to cut with it. Unless you apply brute force, it cuts nothing - not even sausage casing. There are caution statements and warnings everywhere about how sharp it is. Maybe it slices through human skin easily (I haven't tried that yet...) The potato peeler is equally disappointing. I've tossed both items because they are useless.

Had mine for over a year now and have always treated it according to the instructions. Now I have to saw with it to cut a whole pickle.
