4.0 out of 5 stars Just the thing for unlighted areas
I've always looked for lights that are useful in areas where reaching electricity is difficult. This light is excellent. I use it primarily in a garage storage area that has few outlets for electricity and always a spot that needs light. However, if you forget and leave it on for an extended period, it will use up the battery quite quickly. Best for short lighting...

1.0 out of 5 stars Buy several flashlights and leave them where you need them!
This looks like a good idea from Westinghouse, but if you read the warranty details, the krypton bulb is not covered under the 10-year warranty. $10.00 for a bulb that is warranted for 10 years - but not really? What is the point? Extra tape isn't even included when the first strip fails.

I suggest you use a flashlight.

2.0 out of 5 stars A little disappointed, January 10, 2008

I purchased this product for a closet that I use to keep my "home workshop" in.....my tools, screwdrivers, etc. The light is barely bright enough to see anything. I was hoping to avoid hiring an electrician to install a real light fixture, but it looks like I'm going to have to.

1.0 out of 5 stars THE TRUTH ! The only review you need to read ! Stick up is right !, May 3, 2010
This review is from: As Seen on TV "Stick Up Bulb" (Misc.)
After attempting to use these it sure feels like a stick up!
Do not waste your money on this cheap garbage! How anyone can give this anything higher than one star is utterly shocking!

I purchased 2 of these junk bulbs because the wiring in the ceiling of my closest went haywire.

The issues;

1)It doesn't work as advertised! The light is EXTREMELY dim, it doesn't light anything up like it does in the commercials or ads. It's like a very very dim and tiny blacklight. Those keychain lights produce better light! It is nowhere near the light produced by a real light bulb. You honestly can't see anything with it, you would have to buy 50 of them to light up a small closet and actually see anything! If you can't see anything with such an incredibly dim light, what is the point? That should be enough right there but here are a few more issues;

2) The adhesive on the stick bulb fails within seconds to minutes, mine kept falling right out of the box! Neither bulb I purchased lasted longer than a few minutes sticking to the wall. Whats the point if they land on the floor?

3) It eats batteries within a few uses. I would estimate less than 20 mins of use in total.

All in all this is a horrible product, a complete waste of money, does not do anything it is advertised.

A WASTE OF MONEY.
THE LIGHT IS SO SO BAD I put it in my closet close to my shoes and I couldn't even see them.
Plus it consumes the battery's life even when you turn it off.

2.0 out of 5 stars limited light, November 29, 2007
This review is from: As Seen on TV "Stick Up Bulb" (Misc.)
I found the product to be deficient in the amount of light; it will hardly light any room.

it is easy to move from one place to the other, but its advantages don't make it very practical.

4.0 out of 5 stars extremely easy to use, November 9, 2006

I was very pleased with the product due to it's ease of installation - just stick it up with the self adhesive tape (or use optional hardware that was included, put in the bulb and ready to go. It provides just enough light for the closet in which it was placed. I will probably get a couple more for other poorly lit sections of the house.

5.0 out of 5 stars Luv the light, September 19, 2006
This review is from: As Seen on TV "Stick Up Bulb" (Misc.)
I have now bought a few of these lights. I have put them in the shed's, closet's, anyplace you need some light. the batteries last a long time. and if the power goes out you not only have a light but a safe light instead of candles.
