"Here comes the bride" as Lois Foutley marries Dr. Dave in this story spanning three episodes from Nickelodeon's animated television series As Told by Ginger
. The smartly written series stars a reflective high school teen trying to make her way through adolescence while offering coming-of-age insights. In this tale, her mother's wedding day approaches and as Ginger's to-do list grows, so do her doubts about love and commitment. Meanwhile, a sinister plot of wedding sabotage is underway by a trio of brazen broads. Ginger's brother, Carl, and his hilarious friend, Hoodsey, go undercover to foil the saboteurs' scheme, while slinging playful one-liners in perfectly timed comic relief. Amid the cartoon's lightness is a sophisticated script that will appeal not only to preteens but to parents with snippets such as "hurl yourself headfirst into this crazy world."
