A touching memoir of a young woman's journey though the ups and downs of motherhood. Ms. Winther's tone is both genuine and conversational as she recounts several hilarious and bittersweet moments of her children's formative years. I could not put this one down.

A delightful read! "As I Was Saying..." inspires us with its rich details of a young mother's life in the early seventies. As a gift to her children, Katha Winther created a real-life journal for them to read later in life. Throuhg her personal entries we learn about Christian values and family love. This book is a wonderful read for mothers and grandmothers of all ages!
