In her tenth--yes, tenth!--oracle deck, angel therapist Doreen Virtue imparts wisdom from Ascended Masters. Spanning every culture and spiritual tradition, these masters are said to have certain "specialties" of expertise--aiding seekers and offering guidance within the realm of these specializations.

For example, the Greek god Apollo can help you focus on your innate strengths, while The Green Man leads you into nature and its many gifts. Lugh, the Celtic sun god, encourages persistence while the beloved master of Christianity, Jesus, invites all to open their heart to love.

As with Doreen's other decks, the Ascended Masters Oracle Cards number 44. And like her recent decks, these cards have a lovely shiny gilt edging. The 104-paged companion book provides a brief overview of deck clearing, preparing for guidance, and performing readings. The rest of the companion book explains the theme of each card, as well as various card meanings and a brief bio of the Ascended Master. As I first began working with this deck, I wasn't sure how I felt about it. There were "Masters" I had never heard of and a few were obscure. For example, I had no idea who "Mahachohan Ragoczy" was--and after Googling the name, only found one reference!

After further research, I discovered an alternative spelling (M. Rakozi) and realized that he--and the other obscure "Masters" (such as Paul the Venetian, Serapis Bey, Lady Nada and Kuthumi)--are referenced in the writings of Theosophy...an esoteric spirituality based on writings of Alice A. Bailey, Elizabeth Clare Prophet, and Madame Blavatsky.

Initially, I did a 3-card reading with the Ascended Masters Oracle Cards and felt it to be inaccurate and irrelevant. Yet, the next day, I performed a one-card reading on a writing project, and found it to be surprisingly accurate. In fact, the card I drew (Lugh)--and his accompanying wisdom--actually described a *specific* component of my project...word for word! I was stunned.

So this highly accurate reading gave me pause--and I reconsidered the reading from the night before. I realized that the wisdom it offered was unfolding--and actually gave relevant insights now that the light of a new day illuminated the previous reading. I'm inclined to think, then, that this deck crosses dimensions of time and space--quite fitting for a decidedly New Age oracle!

I feel that the decorative border colorings are too bland on some cards (especially the ones with muddy brown, dull gold, and dreary olive), and some of the images are so-so. Others are quite attractive and even ethereal. A few of the New Age Ascended Masters look identical in the face as the same artist painted them--but the colors chosen are gorgeous.

From Ganesh to Merlin, Paravati to King Solomon, the Ascended Masters Oracle Cards provides a wide range of wisdom from various cultures and traditions, appealing to seekers on a broad spiritual path. Those familiar with the "7 Ray" New Age teachings will be especially delighted that Masters such as Saint-Germain are given honor in this deck. As always, this deck can be used in conjunction with Doreen's other decks, which will likely add another layer of depth to a reading.

This is one of the best oracle cards by Dr. Doreen Virtue, aside from Daily Guidance From Your Angels oracle cards. In this deck, it features all the ascended masters from the spiritual realm including, Apollo, Jessus, Mother Mary, Pallus Athena, St. Francis, and many more ascended masters. The messages in the card are upon a diverse range of topics including:
-Spiritual Law of Attraction
-Nurture Yourself
-Focus on Your Strengths
-Flow of Prosperity
-Open Your Heart To Love
-Detach From Drama
-Let it Go.
The paintings, drawings, and messages are really beautiful. All the messages are really loving, and have a variety of topics that people can relate to.
I stronly reccommend it, and this one of Doreen's best card decks. If you like her "Daily Guidance From Your Angels," "Saints and Angels," and "Archangel Oracle Cards,"then you are going to really enjoy working with this oracle card deck.

This 44-card deck from Doreen Virtue, like her other oracle card decks, is a high-quality product that is fun and easy to use. The gilded edges make the deck especially attractive, and the artwork is quite beautiful. I have four decks of oracle cards, and this is by far my favorite. I particularly enjoy giving readings with these cards because not only have they proven to be highly accurate, but they appeal to men as well as women and a variety of cultural and faith traditions are represented. Among the ascended masters, Doreen has included reprentatives from Greek and Roman mythology, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Celtic deities as well as from the Judeo-Christian tradition (such as Jesus, Moses, and the archangels). I was concerned at first that as so many of the ascended masters were unfamiliar to me, I would have difficulty relating to and interpreting the cards. I have found that it is actually easier to use this deck than my others, possibly because since I have fewer preconceived ideas, I am more open and receptive when I read from this one. The guidebook is particularly helpful and gives detailed instructions for preparing the deck for use, for selecting cards and many suggestions for various spreads. It also includes detailed information about the meaning of each card as well as background on the particular master represented on the card.

I agree with the first person who wrote a review of this oracle card deck by Doreen Virtue.I own all of Doreen`s oracle decks,and this one are among the best of the bunch!I would HIGHLY recommend this deck for everyone.I have tried it several times and the answers I have gotten doing readings with it,have always been pinpoint accurate.Buy it NOW,don`t wait another minute!!I will also highly recommend all other decks by Doreen Virtue.Get them while you can!

I own several types of divination cards and tools, but this one is soon to be one of my favorites.

This deck is absolutely beautiful in many ways. The colors and artistic interpretations of the faces and figures of the Ascended Masters will reach out to you, and draw you in.

The mini guide book that accompanies the cards gives you just enough information about the Master for instant inspiration and insight. There is also a mini bio about the Master and their particular belief, teaching or attribute.

This deck is not just a tool for spiritual inspiration but a tool that inspires you to learn more about an Ascended Master you may never have heard of before, yet has much to teach.

The sparkling golden gilded edges of each card are the finishing touch that gives this deck a special feel of honor and sacredness that the Ascended Masters themselves deserve.

In comparison to other DV Cards these leave much to be desired, it says ascended Masters yet there are only twelve , she I don't know if it's by publishing pressure to produce , has included, Gods and Goddesss from many religions connected but having nothing to do with ascended masters I would have loved to have seen the deck repeat other images with other messages from the Masters , then to mix Gods and Goddesses that have nothing to do with Ascended masters , I find this deck is and can be very misleading for the person who does not know the ascended masters. It lacks accuracy and adds false illusion to those in the spiritual world of truth.

II find Ms Virtue failed on this Deck I am sure it may be Publishing Pressure ,

Yet be AWARE to look at the messages for guidance but they are not all Ascended Mastera at all,

She even includes African Orisha oshun wich would be more for the Goddess Deck as many others Laxmi, etc. yemaya is in the Goddess.

I think it's a nice deck , but not all truth.

I collect oracle decks and have several of Doreen Virtue's. These cards are the most beautifully illustrated and all encompassing that I have seen so far.
Just about every religion is represented with beautiful and insightful messages.
Anyone can pick up this deck and immediately understand the messages received.

Item was in excellent condition and arrived in record time. I have used Doreen Virtue"s cards in the past and find her messages are constructive and helpful. I am a therapist and actually use them with clients. The message is always relevant to the day's session and acceptable to people from all walks of life.

This deck is long overdue. Finally a deck that includes ascended masters (great spiritual beings) from all over the world and many cultures, religions. The artwork is gorgeous, gold gilded cards with a helpful booklet. The Yes, you are seeing the situation accurately, Listen and open your heart to love cards spoke to me. Although I would say there is not one frivolous card in this deck.
One note: please read the guidebook for additional meanings. The twin flame card also means your soul mate is coming. Some people get hung up over whether someone is one or the other but this card covers both situations. If you only buy one or few oracle decks, make sure to get this one.

I bought this deck to add to my collection of Doreen's cards. I have them all. These are as beautiful as the rest, I especially love the gold edges, however there are too many of the same cards from previous decks. The artwork is different but it's pretty much the same meanings. I was hoping for something new in this deck and it just doesn't have it. Even so, I will continue to buy Doreen's cards because I love the artwork in them and the positive inspirations.
